Invitation is a project where teabags are send by airmail to half the households of Thyregod’s main street. The tea bags are with spices primarily harvested in Asia and Africa.

At the Danish national parliamentary election 2015 the Danish National Party (DF) had their best election; received 21 % of all votes.
Thyregod was the city with the biggest percentage of supporting voters. Half of the city voted for the Danish National Party (49 %). The Danish National Party is known for having a conservative foreign policy.
