Performance excerpts:

”Time’s up.
We end things all the time. (…) what is it that we choose to start after a finished action? After a finished cup of coffee? At the end of summer break? After ones childhood?
In my childhood I played Tekken 3. (…) if you lose, you are told: Time’s up. You lose. Continue? If you lose a fight, you have 10 seconds to assess whether you want revenge, whether you are willing to continue, ready to fight again. (…) One must ask oneself: Should I rise up and fight on, or should I admit a defeat? Should I try again, take the chance, carpe diem, seize the day. Try a new technique, a new tactic. Try again, knowing that it can also go wrong this time, and that this time you might get even more beaten up than you already are?
In such cases, one has the expression YOLO - you only live once. (…) A concept that should motivate one to do things that one may have wanted for a long time or dreamed of, but does not quite dare. You only have one life to try things out.
Every day we have to consider what we do when we finish something. Shall we get up, take up the fight? Try something new? Or should we do what we usually do when we are told:
Time’s up, will you continue or give up?”
